Totally free patterns to create your own 3D geometric shapes out of paper (basic instructions included on each page). Printing the patterns onto the back side of patterned paper works great – all the cut & fold lines will be hidden inside the GeoShape. Laser printers have the best accuracy, but most inkjets will work okay. Be sure to check out the scrapbooking isle at HobbyLobby for many cool paper options.
Most patterns can be cut and folded in about an hour. Standard office/copy paper (0.0045 - 0.0060 inch thickness) works well. For best results, pre-fold all lines with sharp accurate creases. Some patterns get tricky in the final fold-up process, so it is sometimes handy to glue a few tabs together, wait until they dry, and then proceed with less moving elements. Have fun!
